The Canadian Association for Surface Finishing (CASF) was established in Canada to help members come together to discuss, collaborate and advocate with regulators at all levels of government. CASF aims to keep members informed on regulatory affairs that may impact our sector in the areas of chemicals management, hazard/risk evaluations, environmental monitoring and reporting, air/water quality regulations, and climate change-related strategies at a minimum.
By working together with our members, we increase our knowledge base in government relations, industry best practices, and technological changes. This allows us to effectively and efficiently reduce our business risks while continuing to advance our business activities throughout the whole supply chain worldwide.
We know that the regulatory landscape will become more complex as governments continue to amend legislative frameworks and make regulations restrictive and prohibitive. This presents challenges and opportunities, thus requiring our members, subject matter experts, to be unified while facilitating discussions with government partners.
