The 4th Biennial CASF Golf Tournament held on Tuesday September 21st was truly a fantastic success. We’ve already received very positive feedback from many of you.
Initially the weather did not look promising, as it poured rain all morning, but the weather gods were with us and the rain stopped shortly before the shotgun start and although cloudy with some wind, all golfers remained dry throughout the tournament’s duration.
The CASF golf tournament wasn’t just about the golf this year; it was about presenting our Surface Finishing Industry Leadership award to its very deserving recipient, Richard Thibodeau. This was accomplished with a very emotional introduction by our President, Graham Douglas, who then handed the microphone to Mike Kuntz, who has worked closely with Richard over many years at CASF and in industry. Mike gave a sparkling synopsis of Richard’s career to this point. A well-deserved congratulations to Richard!

Richard Thibodeau Accepts Industry Leadership Award

Tournament Highlights
We were fortunate enough to have 105 golfers registered for this year’s tournament. A big thank you to those who continue to come out and support this biennial event, and help us to keep the industry connected.
Golf Highlights
The 2020 Surface Finishing Industry Leadership award. Dave Paniati, Glen Breault, Robert Kuntz Jr., and Dave Kuntz were awarded the Low Gross trophy, at 9 under par by Richard Thibodeau. The Low Net score came from talented team from Four Star Metal Finishers, Adam, Erik, Mitch and Mark. Congratulations to all on a successful day of golf!
